Daycare
Safe, supervised play and socialization!
At Jurassic Bark, we have two certified trainers on staff and decades of combined experience working with a variety of breeds and personalities. We recognize that a daycare environment is not suitable for all dogs, and will be honest and upfront in our assessment of your dog to ensure a good fit and a pleasant environment for all.

What's it all about?
Daycare is a wonderful option for dogs who require daytime supervision while owners are busy or working. It can also be a great way to socialize puppies and to build confidence in dogs of all ages. This is a safe and fun way to allow your dog to make social connections with other dogs, and practice reading and displaying body language appropriately. Unlike a dog park, each of our new daycare dogs is thoroughly temperament tested by one of our qualified trainers before being welcomed as a member of the pack. Daycare is not a free-for-all; interactions are guided to be safe and mutually beneficial for all dogs involved.

Is it safe?
Safety is our main concern. As such, we ask that you refrain from opening any doors or gates yourself. The shop is equipped with a triple gate system to ensure the dogs' safety. Our staff will open gates for you when it is safe to do so.
We accept intact males up to 6 months of age. Past this age, we require males to be neutered, and we require unaltered females be kept at home if in heat.
We require proof of a current parvo/distemper vaccination and recommend the rabies and bordetella vaccinations as well.
While our daycare space is indoor only, your dog will be taken out on leash multiple times throughout the day for fresh air and a chance to potty outside.

We are happy to feed your dog meals (if supplied) and/or administer medication if necessary. Dogs who eat a meal during their stay will be crated afterwards to reduce chances of bloat.
